Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 10) — Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla announced on Sunday he tested positive for COVD-19.
“I have Covid. Tested positive Thursday,” Remulla told reporters in a text message.
He added he is currently experiencing very mild symptoms.
On Friday, Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles announced President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. also caught the virus, his second time after first getting infected in 2020.
She said the chief executive is recovering and working while in isolation.
Later in the day, Atty. Mico Clavo from Office of the Justice Secretary said Remulla “is okay already” and he has been working from home.
