Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 10 ) — Masiu, Lanao del Sur mayor Nasser Pangandaman was unharmed after surviving an ambush by unidentified suspects Sunday morning, police said.
Provincial police reported Pangandaman’s police escort and an unidentified civilian were wounded. The incident happened at 10:00 a.m. in Barangay Gata, Buadiposo-Buntong.
The injured were brought to the Amai Pakpak Medical Center in Marawi City. Police said they are scouring the area for the suspects.
